Event Details

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Detroit Riots, a five-day uprising that began with the raid of the United Community League for Civic Action on 12th near Clairmount. This program will examine the root causes of what is still considered to be one of the most significant episodes of civil unrest in US history. Presenting will be Jamon Jordan of The Black Scroll Network History & Tours.
