Speaker, Delphine Palkowski is a member of AARP's Capitol Corps dealing with legislation; is on the Executive Board of the Michigan Alliance to strengthen Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid-MASSSM.
The Congressional House Budget Resolution for Fiscal Year 2018 would make $487 billion cuts to Medicare that would be achieved by ending traditional Medicare and increasing health care costs to beneficiaries. The proposal also, gives tax breaks that benefit the very wealthy and large profitable corporations.
