Salem-South Lyon District Library

Event Details

Help us kick off a summer of reading. Join our own "Mystery Maven" Karin as she hosts a conversation with author Karen Dionne. See information at the bottom for how you can participate.

Karen Dionne's debut psychological suspense novel THE MARSH KING'S DAUGHTER became a #1 international bestseller and is now published in 25 languages. Described by The New York Times Book Review as “Subtle, brilliant and mature . . . as good as a thriller can be", it was named a 2018 Michigan Notable Book, took home the Barry and the Crimson Scribe Awards for Best Novel and is in development as a major motion picture. Her next book, The Wicked Sister, is slated for release in August, and international bestselling author Karin Slaughter calls it "massively thrilling and altogether unputdownable".

Everyone can watch the interview from the Library's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ssldl). If you have a Facebook account, you can leave questions in the comment feature and we'll read them to Karen Dionne. People with Zoom can register to attend and participate through either voice or written comments with the link that will be emailed to you.
