From rockets to rovers, space food to space shots, learn about Michigan’s role in the history of America’s space program from Michigan native Glen Swanson. Glen served as the chief historian of NASA’s Johnson Space Center where he managed their oral history program to preserve the stories of the half a million people that worked in support of the Apollo program. His award-winning book, Before This Decade is Out: Personal Reflections on the Apollo Program contains some of those oral histories. Registration Required.
